Company

The applicant and owner of record on every filing. The domicile is the principal place of business.

Sets the fee estimates across the portfolio and docket.

Domicile address

A street address. A PO box alone is not accepted.

USPTO

Used on application data sheets and fee payments. Both are optional until your first filing.

4 to 7 digits. Links filings to your correspondence address.

We keep only the last 4 digits, to tell accounts apart.

Each person uses their own USPTO.gov account, with MFA and ID.me identity verification. We never ask for or store USPTO passwords.

Notifications

Email reminders before each docket deadline. Snoozing a reminder on the docket never moves the deadline.
